A majority of CFOs are sharing the pain of their rank and file...sort of.

According to a new comprehensive survey, more than half of all finance executives (57 percent) said they did not receive a salary increase in 2010.

There are countless famous examples of successful business mentoring relationships and the benefits that can be gleaned from such a partnership. 

JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon was mentored by former Citi CEO Sandy Weill. Dimon went on to act as a mentor to Heidi Miller--CEO of JP Morgan’s Treasury & Securities business, Charlie Scharf--CEO of Retail Financial Services at JP Morgan Chase and a director on Visa’s board, and Michael Cavanagh—JP Morgan’s CFO.

Accountemps released the results of a survey today that shows many chief financial officers think that the best place for accounting graduates to start their careers is in a "small to midsize company." The surprising thing about this particular survey is that the numbers aren't even close.

We wouldn't want to suggest that you or your colleagues are terrors behind the wheel.  Not executives in your lofty positions.
