Everywhere you go, you hear that the cloud is the future and, yet, corporations are hesitant to make the move because of fears over data and business applications in the hands of third parties. Now IBM is moving into the cloud, giving it the blessing of one of tech's finest companies.
And while having IBM on board certainly offers some peace of mind, I think vendors still have a hard sell to make. One that will come with time and a demonstration that living with your data in the clouds doesn't have to be a scary thing.
