Global subsea equipment manufacturing and service company DOF Subsea has selected IT2 to provide a centralized treasury management system for the enterprise. The company will make use of IT2’s solutions for cash forecasting; liquidity management; risk management and hedging programs for foreign exchange and interest rate exposures; debt management; and treasury accounting; among other things.
DOF Subsea will access the system through IT2 NET—the system provider’s web portal, and the solution will interface with the company’s counterparties and third-party solution providers—including Nordea Bank, Agresso—for accounting; the Shipnet solution for A/P and A/R management; and Reuters.
American Express and SAP are partnering to provide corporate customers with easier electronic payments between the two entities. The goal is to provide a 'plug-and-play' utility for SAP users to quickly move to an e-payments environment and make payments using the American Express suite of corporate payments products.
Carval, which provides HR and payroll software, announced the launch of a payroll bureau service within its Unistaff HR Software solution. Through the bureau, companies can provide employees with either paper or secure electronic payslips and have them electronified and made available through the bureau interface within Unistaff. Plus, employees can access their own payslips, P60s and P11Ds through a browser.
Basware is launching e-invoicing services for small- and medium-sized businesses. The services—which fall under the Basware InvoiceReady label—are offered as a service (SaaS) and are intended to automate A/P processes from invoice receipt to payment.
National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA), the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), and the American Payroll Association (APA) have announced a partnership to promote electronic payroll services to their respective members, in an effort to increase corporate uptake of such electronic automation solutions.
