Caterpillar announced this week that CFO Dave Burritt will retire next month as part of a major management restructuring that will also lead to the departure of four other top executives. Burritt will be replaced as CFO by Caterpillar executive Ed Rapp, who will also be responsible for several of Caterpillar's services divisions.
McAfee announced that Jonathan Chadwick is joining the security technology company as CFO in June. He will be responsible for leading all worldwide financial functions, manufacturing, procurement, facilities, and information technology. Chadwick most recently was with Cisco Systems, where he spent 13 years in various finance roles.
Gilt Groupe, an online luxury retailer announced that Andrew Page has joined the company as CFO. He will oversee all of the company's financial operations and corporate strategic planning. Prior to joining the company, Page was chief operating and financial officer of PlayPhone, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the company's operations across 15 countries.
Willliam H. Campbell, CFO for Amtrak from 2007-2009, has joined the race for Maryland comptroller. Prior to Amtrak, he held a series of federal jobs, including stints as CFO for the US Coast Guard and Department of Veteran Affairs.
TechTarget, a technology media company appointed Jeff Wakely as CFO and treasurer. In this role, Wakely will have overall leadership responsibility for the strategy and operations of all of the company's finance and control functions. He is currently the chief accounting officer, vice president of finance and assistant treasurer at NetScout Systems.
XL Capital named Irene M. Esteves as executive vice president and CFO. She joins the company May 17. She has more than 20 years of experience in financial, strategic mergers and acquisitions and investment risk management at U.S. and global companies. She assumes CFO responsibilities from Simon Rich, XL's corporate controller, who is also serving as interim CFO. Most recently, Esteves held the position of CFO of Regions Financial, a commercial and retail bank.
Silicon Image, promoted Nolan Granberry, vice president of finance and chief accounting officer to CFO. He brings over 25 years of financial management experience in the technology industry, including experience in accounting, auditing, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, financial forecasting and tax planning and compliance. Granberry joined the high tech company in 2006 from Xilinx, where he served as the director of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and established and managed a successful compliance program.
Safety National Casualty, a subsidiary of Delphi Financial Group, promoted senior vice president John Csik to CFO and treasurer. Csik takes on the CFO and treasurer posts from Duane Hercules, who will continue in his position as chief operating officer.
Response Genetics announced the addition of David D. O'Toole as vice president and CFO. He will be responsible for all aspects of financial management. He joins the company from Abraxis Biosciences, where he was CFO of the publicly traded biotechnology company with a $2 billion market capitalization. Previously he was a partner at Deloitte & Touche, where he was responsible for managing services for many large and medium sized life science and biotechnology companies.
Sonus Networks appointed Wayne Pastore as senior vice president and CFO. He has served as interim CFO since February 2010 and as the company's vice president of finance, corporate controller and chief accounting officer since May 2008.
Bemis Company announced that its board of directors has elected Scott B. Ullem as vice president and CFO. He succeeds Gene C. Wulf, who will assume the new role of executive vice president. Ullem joined the company in 2008 as vice president of finance. Prior to joining Bemis, he served as co-head of Diversified Industries at Bank of America.
