You've seen the lists -- "Top 10 Tech Misfires," "The Most Overhyped Technologies," "Eight Products Whose Inventors Were Never Again Allowed to See the Light of Day."
But picking on past failures is like shooting fish in a barrel. I think
we're all well aware of the sorry fates of HD DVD, the Segway,
Microsoft Vista and Apple TV, to name a few of the favorites.
What's more fun is picking out tomorrow's Apple Newton. Here are seven candidates for the next generation of flop lists.
