CFOZone consists of several key elements all of which leverage contemporary forms of interactive and Web 2.0 technologies to communicate, inform and educate members.

Peer Networks
This allows CFOs to seek out and establish links with other CFOs in similar size companies, in like industries, or in similar situations. It allows them to exchange ideas, tips, techniques, and thoughts one-to-one, instantaneously.

Expert Advice/Solutions Services
CFOZone staff fields questions from the community and uses the community's resources—its editorial staff, its data repositories, and other members—to obtain, vet, and supply the right answers to all queries.

Those queries and others make up CFOZone's topic bulletin boards. Questions are also posted here by members, and open to all members to weigh in. Each topic center is monitored by community CFOs, who answer questions themselves or direct queries to CFOZone's staff for resolution.

Research & Surveys
CFOZone undertakes a major research project each month and provides its findings to the community. All research is made available to members of tier one, a majority of the research is available to tier two, and executive summaries of findings are released for general consumption.

Online forums including video, virtual trade shows, webcasts and white board presentations bring the CFO community and the vendor community together to exchange ideas and knowledge. Bill has been a member of the technology industry for 20 years and brings extensive expertise to the role of CTO. Most recently, Bill held the position of CTO of both Wiseads New Media and About.com. Bill also started an Advertising Network named GolfHelp.com targeting golf consumers and advertisers.

He worked for more than ten years as a systems & database C/C++ programmer at various Technology and Publishing companies before joining Oracle in their Architectural Services Division. He then became the VP of Systems & Quality for Elsevier Engineering Information where he helped build the Engineering Information Village. This product provided Web based full text search access to the Compendex database. This database is used daily by thousands of scientific and research organizations around the world.

Bill studied Electrical Engineering at Manhattan College and Industrial Management at SUNY Stonybrook.
